Hay que recordar que este evento se enmarca dentro del ‘Proyecto ZF BLUE CORE-Vivero de Empresas 4.0’, iniciativa financiada en un 85% por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER) dentro del Programa Operativo Plurirregional de España FEDER 2021-2027, a través de la Fundación INCYDE de las Cámaras de Comercio, en el marco de la Prioridad: P1A.

Tercer año del Blue Zone Forum

El Blue Zone Forum celebra este año su tercera edición. En las anteriores ediciones ha logrado consolidar a Cádiz como una ciudad de referencia para el conocimiento, la innovación y el emprendimiento azul. En 2024, el foro se celebró en colaboración con la Universidad de Cádiz –colaboración que se reeditará en los años pares– y logró superar los 1.500 participantes, con un cartel encabezado por figuras como Céline Cousteau, Ferran Adrià y Gisela Pulido y 165 expertos nacionales e internacionales.
La edición también destacó por la creación de nuevos espacios temáticos como el Foro Blue Women, que contó con la presencia de Mercedes Martín, y un área dedicada a la Biotecnología, consolidando así su papel como punto de encuentro para el ecosistema azul nacional e internacional.

Por su parte, en la primera edición en 2023 el evento reunió a 1.200 asistentes, con la participación de tres ponentes internacionales de gran prestigio —Gunter Pauli, Ángel León y Teresa Zabel—, además de 38 conferenciantes, cinco talleres especializados y tres encuentros de networking.
